This game's great, shoutout the big von and the snake lady's VAs, shout out whoever wrote the esoteric ass dialogue (compliment) because it really got me intrigued into the plot.
The gameplay is, for the most part, just castlevania, but weirdly without castlevania difficulty since the only difficult enemy was the flesheaters (because they're annoying)
The game looks and sounds great, but for some reason it refuses to detect the D-pad or analog sticks of my gamepad (it's an 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wired Controller, which just uses normal XInput). I don't know if it's my problem or something wrong with the game, but this seems kind of odd either way.
Thanks for the feedback! I was running out of time to complete the demo, so the joystick support is a work in progress. It worked fine with my joystick (a GameSir pad which has X-Box glyphs) but I did hear from other people it wasn't exactly working with other pads. I'll work on better joystick support for further revisions, and knowing which one you used is a huge help already.

Just by the by, as the stage ended, you unlocked both a secret character (because of how you played) as well as an assist character, so if the game's lucky enough that you'd want to go back to it, it might change up how you played it. Thanks again and I hope you enjoyed your time with it!

On my first game released, complaints about the difficulty being too high were the norm, so I'd rather lean on the easy side after that, haha.
